How to Make Delicious Low-Calorie Protein Pancakes

This Pancake Day we decided to do something a little bit different to keep on our weight loss goals. These pancakes are stupidly easy to do so why not give them a go!
This will be a relatively short post as I hate finding a recipe on a blog I want to try and reading about the bloggers life story for 2/3rd of the page before I get to the recipe. Bottom line is, we needed some protein as we were in pain for the gym so gave these a go! I highly recommend trying them as they were easy, low-calorie and delicious.
Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 6
Serves: 8 pancakes
Calories: 50 (per pancake)

Step 1

Grab a bowl, add the egg whites only and beat until soft peaks appear.

Step 2 

Chop up the banana as fine as possible then add that and all the remaining ingredients (including the yolks) into the bowl.

Step 3

Stir and combine in the bowl until you have as little lumps from the banana as possible.

Step 4

Heat up a pan on low heat and scoop 1/8 of the mixture at a time, cooking 60-90 seconds on each time.

As an optional step 5, add your favourite topping. My boyfriend opted for golden syrup as seen in the header image but this obviously increases the calories quite a bit! I had mine plain and they were delicious and perfect.
